The Mill Adventure Secures GLI-19 Certification as Ontario Launch Nears

Milestone confirms platform integrity, KYC and reporting capabilities ahead of North American market entry

    By Admin

The Mill Adventure has obtained GLI-19 certification, removing a key barrier to launching in regulated North American markets for any operator with the platform behind them.

GLI-19 is the globally recognised standard for interactive gaming systems, covering system integrity, reporting, KYC and geolocation. For operators, it means the technical groundwork is already done. No internal build. No certification delays. Faster access to market.

Ontario is the immediate destination, with The Mill Adventure's first Canadian client launch imminent. But the value extends further. Alongside a proven track record across European regulated jurisdictions, GLI-19 certification means operators can enter North American markets with confidence, faster, with less risk, and without building that compliance foundation themselves.

The certification follows a sustained run of growth. The recent launch of Dutch operator Winz.nl and a deeper integration with Optimove's CRM suite have both expanded what operators can put in front of players, from day one, in regulated markets, at scale.

Bjørnar Heggernes, Chief Commercial Officer at The Mill Adventure, said:

Achieving GLI-19 certification reinforces that our platform and compliance framework are built to support the complexity regulated operators face in markets like Ontario, without compromising performance or scalability. Our focus is not simply on entering North America, but on becoming a long-term technical partner for operators looking to scale efficiently across regulated jurisdictions.

The Mill Adventure holds regulatory approvals across Malta, Germany, Sweden, Ontario, Portugal, Austria, Estonia, the Netherlands and Georgia. GLI-19 confirms the platform is built to the technical standard North American markets demand.

Operators planning a North American launch can get in touch to discuss platform readiness.
