The Mill Adventure Achieves ISO 27001:2022 Certification

Updated standard confirms platform security keeps pace with modern cyber threats and gives operator partners verifiable confidence.

    By Admin

The Mill Adventure has secured ISO 27001:2022 certification, the latest version of the internationally recognised information security standard, and a materially stronger baseline than the ISO 27001:2013 certification the company already held.

The distinction matters. The 2022 update was built to address the cyber threat landscape as it exists today, not a decade ago. It introduces tighter controls across threat intelligence, data masking, data leakage prevention and web filtering, areas where the gap between an older standard and a current one can represent real exposure. For partners running on The Mill Adventure's platform, the certification is verifiable proof that the security infrastructure underneath them is built to current global benchmarks, not legacy ones.

This isn't a standalone milestone. The certification follows The Mill Adventure's appointment of Gerardo Prieto as Chief Information Security Officer, a dedicated security leader whose team is focused on proactive, forward-looking protection for the company's global operator partners. Together, they represent a deliberate investment in security as a core component of the platform, not an afterthought.

For brands operating in regulated markets, that investment has a direct commercial value. Regulated jurisdictions set increasingly demanding requirements around data protection, player security and system integrity. ISO 27001:2022 certification removes a significant layer of due diligence burden, teams can enter new markets with documented assurance that the platform they're building on meets the standard regulators and players expect.

Gerardo Prieto, Chief Information Security Officer at The Mill Adventure, said:

Achieving the ISO 27001:2022 standard is a cornerstone of our commitment to partners. It provides verifiable assurance that our platform is built on a foundation of world-class security, enabling them to operate with confidence in the world's strictest regulatory markets. This is a testament to the dedication of our entire team, who champion security in everything they do.

ISO 27001:2022 adds to a compliance framework that spans multiple regulated jurisdictions, confirming that the platform is built to the security standard the market now demands.
